We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Machine Setter for a busy client based in Daventry.
Hours of work: 16:00pm - 02:15am
Duties will include:
- Setting and programming CNC Milling machines
- Operate CNC milling and ensuring accurate cutting, drilling, and shaping of metal or plastic parts.
- Monitor Machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Running the machine in line with he speeds and feeds called up by the programs and monitor performance
- Multi manning when necessary to support the performance & utilisation of our resources when machinery and suitable product types enable you to do so.
- Ensure good and professional communication is maintained with your opposite machinist or supervisor during shift handover.
- Maintain a clean and tidy workplace by ensuring a continuation of 5S (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Systemise, Sustain).
- Work as part of a strong team, willing to fulfil other tasks and additional duties when requested.
What we are looking for
- Previous experience and CNC Machine Setter
- Background working in an environment where attention to detail is important
- Automotive or other batch control industry experience
- Prior experience using measuring equipment
- FANUC and Heidenhain controls
- Engineering background (preferred)
